Dynamic Air Export Manager Required!

My client is one of the most prominent companies in the Sydney Freight Forwarding Industry. Today's highly competitive market requires companies to be at the forefront especially when it comes to attracting and  hiring the best possible candidates. This client prides themselves on designing their service offerings around their customers and is a true solution based organisation.

Their current requirement is to source a quality Air Export Manager. Your responsibility is to lead a team to ensure timely and accurate processing of client's air export shipments to meet both business and client specific KPI's, in particular delivering maximum profitability whilst complying with legal requirements.

You will achieve this by:

• Planning and coordinating daily activities to achieve results ensuring available resources are used effectively
• Take initiative to identify growth opportunities and innovative new ways of doing business.
• Provide direct leadership to effectively deploy innovative practices and technologies leading to significant growth in business.
• Ensure systems are used and people are trained to achieve the highest standards of operational excellence.
• Maximise profitability through leading the day-to-day performance of an end-to-end work or operational process.
• Read customer situations accurately, anticipate their business needs and identify opportunities to significantly enhance the breadth and quality of the service experience.

 In addition to this you will be required to:

• Prepare reports as required for customers
• Profit & Loss for end of month closure and process creditors invoices
• Manage Wips and Accruals Monthly and Manage Job Closures weekly
• Escalation point for customers
• Liaise with airline reps to discuss services, schedules and updated rate information
• Maintain beneficial supplier relationships and client relationships
• Work with the NSW Sales Manager to grow and develop the department
• Liaise closely with internal departments
• Maintain airlines rates file
• Manage CASS statement/accounting issues
• Manage RACA accreditation and compliance
