A truly rare opportunity for someone who wants to get a foot in the door and learn about the Export Freight industry is now available to a candidate who is passionate and keen to progress through this Australian organisation.

This organisation prides itself on delivering a premium freight service to corporate and private clients in nature. They are a well known family owned and managed organisation who has built their company from the ground up.

With a large presence in the Asia Pacific region, there is now a dynamic and rare Trainee position available in their Ocean Freight Exports division to assist with the recent growth. The team you will be working in is fast paced and streamlined in nature with an emphasis on team work.

This position aims to educate and expose you to the Industry terminology and the processes involved in Freight operation. Once you are exposed to these areas, you will be involved in the following duties:

• Liaising with all divisions of the organisation
• Organising with external shipping organisations
• Updating  client information on the centralised data base
• Providing excellent customer service that aligns with the strong company brand

Naturally, the ideal candidate will have to have a high attention to detail, a strong interest in the Freight Forwarding Industry (would suit a student completing a course at Tafe part time) and will have excellent communication skills.
