Export Ocean Operations

Australian owned successful International Freight and Transport Company is looking for an Export Ocean Freight Co-ordinator. In this position you will be responsible for all export sea freight processes including documentation, liaising with clients and have impeccable customer service skills.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Process all appropriate export documentation,

· Liaise with shipping lines, cartage companies and clients,

· Take bookings and make amendments when necessary,

· Produce EDN’s/PRAs whilst ensuring all rates are kept to up date. 

· Forwarding Instructions to shipping lines and co-loaders

· Complete documentation and invoicing

· Chase Suppliers for Export Orders

· Update overseas office with Status of Export Orders

· Assist in general tasks as required

KEY ATTRIBUTES

· A minimum of 1-2 years experience in Export OR Import Ocean Freight

· Strong Customer Service Orientation

· Excellent time management and interpersonal skills

· Good IT skills

· Good ability to build relationships both internally and externally

· A team player commitment, be self motivated, loyal, flexible & hands-on

· A strong desire to help the company be the market leader

Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 + Super
