Facility Inspector

A leader in their field, my client is a global Engineering Consultancy with a reputation that is second to none in the industry.  They have a solid client base and continually win project after project so the work never ends.

Currently, they are seeking several experienced candidates willing to work on a casual/short term contract basis when required. The successful candidate will have:

• A trade qualification - Electrical or Carpentry preferred
• 7-10 years experience working in the Building and Construction industry
• An understanding/experience of BCA compliance
• Ability to travel from project to project which will be between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast currently

This role will see you doing condition assessments of buildings ranging from childcare facilities, transport depots, community halls and hi-rise buildings to name a few.

You will generally work a 40 hour week and be paid an hourly rate plus a daily travel allowance.  Initially the length of contract will be 3-4 weeks but this will depend on additional incoming work and may extend to a longer period of time.
