Facility Building Services Inspector

A leader in their field, my client is a global Engineering Consultancy with a reputation that is second to none in the industry.  They have a solid client base and continually win project after project so the work never ends.

Currently, they are seeking an experienced candidate with either an Electrical, Mechanical or Air conditioning trade background or experience doing condition assessments who is willing to work on a casual/short term contract basis when required. The successful candidate will have:

• 7-10 years experience working in the Building and Construction industry preferably with inspection or loss adjusting/insurance experience
• An understanding/working knowledge of BCA compliance is essential
• Ability to travel from project to project 
• A trade qualification - Electrical, Mechanical or Air-Conditioning is preferred
• Experience working at a consultant level

This role will see you doing condition assessments of buildings ranging from childcare facilities, transport depots, community halls and hi-rise buildings to name a few.

You will generally work a 40 hour week and be paid an hourly rate plus a daily travel allowance.
