Geologist - FIFO

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Mining and Resources houses in the world as a Geologist.  You will be part of the Technical Services team and report to the Lead providing data and information to optimize results in the delivery, recovery and quality of the specific Ore they are mining.

You will need to be a team player and have excellent communication skills with the unique ability to liaise at all levels.  You must be self-motivated and determined to reach your goals. You will hold a Degree in Geology and have at least 3 years post-graduate experience.

This role is based in the Far North of Australia so is a FIFO role and will fly from either Brisbane, Cairns or Darwin on an even time roster.

If you have experience in mining/ore processing quality control environments with advanced knowledge of Vulcan software and wish to join a well known corporation, this may be the role for you.

Some of the duties of this role are:

• Develop, plan and implement grade control drilling programs
• Liaison with relevant personnel in regard to short and medium-term mining plans
• Plan, implement and manager resource evaluation
• Oversee ore extraction and ensure its integrity
