Reporting to the Technical Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • developing new products from brief to launch
  • recipe development, kitchen & production trials
  • liaising with customers, production and QA
  • sample preparation, organising taste panels
  • delivering product improvements and cost optimisation
  • creating and updating all technical documentation and systems
To succeed in this role, you hold a Food Technology / Science degree, possess strong project management skills and are know for the ability to quickly build rapport with people on all levels. Additionally,you will have proven R&D experience in food manufacturing and ideally, you have previously worked as a chef.

Your efforts will be greatly valued by the business and this one year contract opportunity can easily turn into a full-time, permanent position. If you would like to gain experience in developing complex food products without being under pressure from the supermarkets, this is your chance!
