Sales/Purchasing Support Officer

My client is a global company who provides services to the Mining and Construction industries. They have over 100 years of experience in their area and utilise the latest technology and offer an extensive portfolio of services.

Due to expansion they are currently looking for someone to fill the role of Sales/Purchasing Support Officer role.  The main repsonsibility of this role is selling/purchasing and providing support to customers in relation to their spare parts requirements.

THE ROLE

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Checking of deliveries and invoices against purchase orders
• Receive and check purchase requests against inventory records or warehouse stock
• Filling of customers order from stock
• Maintaining current records of pruchases, prices, suppliers, inventory, etc
• Responding to dealer enquiries - both written and verbal

THE PERSON

My client is seeking a hard working, results focused person who enjoys a challenge. You will need to have strong communication skills and be able to liaise at all levels across different cultures.  You will be a highly motivated person who is self-motivated and has the ability to meet deadlines.  Intermediate level MS Office Skills is a must with a strong grasp of Excel.
