Senior Plant Metallurgist - base metals

My client is seeking a very experienced Plant Metallurgist to fill this Senior role based in North Queensland. If you are successful you will benefit from a culture of high performance, integrity, honesty and team work and will enjoy the support of a caring management team.

This role is based on site in North Queensland is available on a FIFO basis from either Cairns or Brisbane and all meals and accommodation are supplied.  Working for this dynamic base metals company you will enjoy a variety of benefits for you and your family. If you are willing to relocate and live residentially an attractive relocation package is available.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10 years experience in base metals (poly metallic experience is a clear advantage)
• Crushing, grinding and flotation experience
• Capability to conduct flotation test work in a lab and report on the results
• Good report writing and Metallurgical Accounting skills
• Capability to mentor more junior staff
• Ability to identify projects, complete justification and oversee execution
