Support Services Dementia

My client is a large Not For Profit organisation that daily works with Clients, families and their Carers  offering support and guidance in the area of Dementia.  The valuable service that they provide enhances the lives of those they come in contact with.

As part of this service they require a dedicated individual to provide telephone and face to face counselling and support.  This requires a special person who is used to listening and understanding the needs of the individual.  There will be some requirement to present face to face so you will need to be confident in speaking publicly and have excellent customer service skills. 

You will have the ability to prioritise your work and refer enquiries if necessary to the appropriate Case Manager or other related service.  You will have excellent time management and administration skills.

Full industry training will be provided although previous knowledge and experience in the area of Dementia is highly regarded.  This organisation is made up of a team of dedicated individuals who work together in a professional yet fun environment.

Previous or current nursing qualifications or other related tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.  Experience within a Community based organisation or working within an Aged Care environment is essential.
